Rest peacefully in your private log cabin amidst the whispering pines of Hocking Hills. On you deck, you can soak in the hot tub, prepare a great meal on the grill, or cozy up by the fire place. Inside, enjoy the woodsy ambiance, full kitchen, fireplace, and luxury bedding. This resort offers some of the most unique indulgences anywhere. At your request, you can have a chef prepare a gourmet meal for the two of you right there in your cabin's kitchen. They will gladly prepare a romantic ambiance with chilled champagne and rose petals while you’re out. Inn at El GauchoInn at El Gaucho
Seattle, Washington
Get ready for a sensational experience at the Inn at El Gaucho. Each room is uniquely designed with retro sophistication, extra luxurious touches (like triple-designer-sheeted feather beds and leather couches), and designer toiletries. With only 18 suites making up the inn, you can expect the most personal service you’ve ever had from the staff at El Gaucho. What first attracted me to the hotel is their attention to detail. One example of their (always changing) specials would be the Sex and the City movie premier weekend special. The weekend the movie came out, guests of the hotel sipped on Cosmopolitans and other signature martinis like Flirt-tini’s and Tart-tini’s and munch on goodies from one of the inn’s gourmet restaurants while viewing the film on the plasma televisions that are in every suite.

Some Ideas From Our Readers:

Dinner and Mystery Destination
My boyfriend has the greatest ideas, and I can rarely match his level of romance. I decided to go all out for his 20th birthday. I brought him to a small Ethiopian restaurant where the owner was also the waiter, cook, and storyteller. After our excellent dinner, we listened to traditional African stories and had many good laughs. Having finished a bottle of wine, then a small bottle of port, I gave my boyfriend a handmade card. The card contained MapQuest directions with the destination blacked out. He had no clue where I was taking him, but he followed the directions until they led us to a hotel that was known for it's themed rooms. I had reserved the one with a dancing pole, double showers, double hot tub, and a gigantic bed with mirrors everywhere. When we got into the room, there was sparkling wine waiting to be poured. It was a night he'll never forget!

Princess for a Weekend
My boyfriend surprised me with a weekend at a beautiful 18th century style bed and breakfast. When we arrived, I learned that he had booked the whole top floor of the B&B! He started the weekend by running a bath for the two of us in the huge antique hot tub. He lit candles and put on some music, then he washed my hair for me while we drank champagne. The next day, we went on a carriage ride to a private beach for a picnic. Then we explored the town and visited the little antique shops. That evening we went to a very upscale restaurant where I got to wear a gorgeous gown that he bought me for the occasion. When we got back to our room, we climbed back in the hot tub and then made love in front of the fireplace. It was the most magical experience of my life. I truly felt like a princess!!
