Romantic Baths For Two

by Jennifer Good

Making It Memorable

Making it Memorable

When you want to make your moment together something you'll never forget, try one of these ideas.

I think the most intimate moment would have to go like this: Instead of taking a bath together, offer to wash his hair out of the shower. All you have to do is get a spray bottle, shampoo, and a towel. Have him lay his head in your lap with the towel under him and message his head while your washing it. Trust me, they go crazy! Then, after you're done, wash his body with a wet sponge from head to toe.

I live in Michigan and it's always so cold in the winter that I wanted to find someway to keep warm. One night I had the brilliant idea of using the bath tub as a hot tub. My boyfriend and I both put on our swim suits and climbed in. We've since bought waterproof playing cards and a few other toys for our "hot tubbing" experiences (I discovered Target sells bubble bath finger paint in the section with the regular bubble bath.) There may not be a lot of room, but it’s a lot of fun!

My boyfriend is a doctor and often comes home exhausted. One winter night, he was on his way home from working an 18 hour shift, so I ran him a really hot bath and poured in some mint bubble bath. (It has a great tingling sensation.) When he got home, I lead him to the bathroom and undressed him. He got in the tub and I got in with him. I had his favorite razor and his shaving cream all ready. I sat on his lap and shaved his face for him, gently kissing the areas after I shaved them. After that, I washed his hair and dried him off. It was really nice to do something for my hard working sweetie!

My husband loves the ocean, so I found some great bath crystals that turn the bath water the perfect shade of blue, then bought a CD of sea sounds, turned all the lights off and lit a few soft candles. He loved it!
