Shrimp On A Skewer
provided by Jacques Prudhomme

The Setting
The setting for this Love Bite romance will be well-suited for the living room. Candlelight and soft, romantic background music will set the stage for your presentation of a single red rose to your companion. Any flower will do, even a single daisy. The message here is "I think you are special." Breaking routines really helps in keeping balance in your sexual life. This is the intent of Love Bites romance ideas.

Ingredients:
10 jumbo raw shrimps
1 lime
1 Teaspoon Aromantic Seasonings of Seduction*
2 ounces olive oil
¼ teaspoon salt
Pinch of cayenne pepper
1 small can of pineapple rings
1 ounce dry sherry
2 thick slices of French bread
Bamboo skewers

*If Aromantic Seasonings of Seduction is not available in your area, you may substitute Old Bay ® Seasoning.

Preparations:
Peel and devein shrimp. Leave tails on. Rinse in cold water and pat dry. In a medium bowl, mix together olive oil, fresh squeezed lime juice, sherry, seasonings, cayenne and salt. Add shrimp and mix thoroughly several times during the marinating process. Set gas grill or oven broiler on high. Cut each pineapple ring in four wedges. Arrange one piece of pineapple on bamboo skewer followed by one shrimp. Repeat until bamboo skewer holds 3 shrimp and 4 pieces of pineapple. NOTE: If you use longer bamboo skewers, you may be able to put 5 shrimp on each one.

Broil shrimp until pink in color. Brush with marinade on all sides and return to broiler. Approximately 8-10 minutes cooking time. NOTE: If oven broiler is used it is a good idea to place skewers on a rack on top of ovenproof platter. Baste often. You may also warm bread if you wish.

Chef's Comments:
I found a lot of excitement with this Love Bite romance. It seemed to put me in a mood for lovemaking. Should it do the same for you? But of course!
