I came up with this little idea when my perfect under the stars picnic got rained out. I rummaged through the closets until I found all the old plain and blinking XMAS lights I could find and I tacked them to the ceiling in my room. I then hauled most of my bedroom furniture to the attic. I drug in all of my moms plants and a couple of fake potted trees from the patio. I took the sheet off my bed ( it's a navy blue) And I tacked it up over the XMAS lights. I prepared the picnic on a blanket on my floor. Complete with candles and a nature sounds CD. My boyfriend loved it! So, who says that rainy days spoil a picnic?
