Ensure a great night with a visit to your local comedy club! Laughter is an incredible icebreaker, which makes this date night a perfect and very memorable first date idea. Go the extra mile to impress your date with these tips:

Get a list of comedy clubs in your area.
Call them or visit their web site to find out their schedule.
Check out any age or dress restrictions.
Find out if they serve food and/or beverages. You may need to plan for dinner elsewhere.
See if they offer any special dinner packages.

Notes:
Be sensitive to your date. If you know a comic tends to pick apart their crowd, sit in a discreet location or choose a different night.

Some comics can tend to verbally bash different ethnic groups or generalities of different people. If this would offend your date find a different club or go on a different night.

Alternative Idea:
Enjoy the fun without the club! Most great or classic comedy sketches are available to rent. Visit a local video rental store and pick out a few of your favorites. Don't forget to grab a few munchies and drinks for a perfect evening for two at home!
