Idea:
Save time and energy by compiling an entertainment guide to your city! Get a medium sized binder, pocket dividers, and blank tab dividers. You may want to get sheet protectors for restaurant menus, etc. On the blank tab dividers write the following categories: Dining Out, Take Out & Delivery, Movies & Theaters, Parks & Recreation, Nightlife, Hotels & B&B's, Family, Shopping, Seasonal, and any other additional categories you'd like to add. Now, get out your yellow pages and look up the names, numbers and addresses of places that fit into the above categories. Write down the information for the ones you'd like to try. When you visit or try a new place, bring a notebook and write down what you liked or disliked about it. Also make notes of hours, prices and other romantic touches about the place. Whenever possible, try and get a brochure, menu or guide for the place you're visiting.
Additional Romantic Touches:
- Create a let's "try it list" in each category. That way you can keep up on any new happenings around town.
- Keep a romance rating of each place.
- If a special moment was shared at a place, write it down in your notes so you can always remember it.
