For a few dollars you can create a wonderful, personalized keepsake they're sure to treasure!

YOU'LL NEED

Basics
Journal
2 pieces of 12x12 patterned paper
2 pieces solid paper
Felt ribbon
Ribbon scraps
Heart cut out or sticker
Letter cut outs or stickers



Tools We Used
Cricut: Personal Cutting System (George & Basic Shapes and Beyond Birthdays cartridges)
Xyron 150: Create A Sticker
Xyron 900: Sticker Maker Cartridge

DIRECTIONS

1. Measure out the journal cover and back. Cut out two pieces of paper to be an extra ½" inch on one side and on both the top and bottom.
   
   
2. Adhere the paper to the front cover and fold over the excess sides.
   
   
3. Cut 2 pieces of felt ribbon the length of your journal. Adhere next to binding, making sure it covers your seam.
   
   
4. Cut solid paper to size to fit on inside of cover and back. Adhere over excess paper and ribbon.
   
   
5. Adhere front embellishments.
   
   
6. Tie scrap ribbons to the front of binding.
   
   
7. Write a little love note inside!
