This project requires no sewing! Just scissors, a yardstick and 2 yards of 45" holiday fabric which will fray is needed to create four original place settings.

The areas you will measure off and mark for cutting will match this diagram guide.

Lay out the pressed fabric on a flat surface. Measure and mark everything before cutting.

Four Ribbons - Measure and mark four pink lengths. Each one is 2-3" wide and 36" long... In place of a napkin ring - used to wrap around the napkin, knife, fork and spoon with a nice big bow. Set this right on top of the plate.

Cut out the pieces, then pull away threads leaving a half inch fringe on all the edges.

You can sew a half inch in around all the borders before pulling threads to control fraying on really loosely woven fabrics.

Create two triangles with two of the colorful napkins to decorate a fireplace mantel, small tables, etc. Also, use left-over ribbons to tie about hanging towels in the guest bathroom.
