Purchase various size wood hearts, stars, and circles from your local craft store.

Paint the base with medium to dark flat paint for a matte effect. Designs will be painted with metallic paints.

Get clear glue ready and/or ribbon to hang completed designs.

Draw your designs on the pre-painted heart, then, paint with metallic gold or silver paint.

The same process can be used directly onto wood boxes, or just attach completed wooden shapes.

Sponge pat white paint onto the wet dark paint for cloud effects; or hang shapes with ties.

Use star shapes with your designs... personalize with initials, words like LOVE, etc.

Circle shapes are great for circular designs, too. Try gluing these shapes to cabinet knobs.

Sign the back side with a loving phrase and mail it.
