Use any type of fabric ribbon you like. For a nice full bow use ribbon which is about two inches wide... |
If the completed bow needs to be about six inches wide, then, you multiply by seven and need 42 inches of ribbon. |

Get light gauge coated or galvanized wire (wire that doesn't rust).

Take the ribbon and loosely layer it back and forth into seven sections... |

Then, press the seven layers together once each layer is the the same length. |
Wrap the wire (~7 in.) around the middle and begin twisting the wire. |

Begin pulling the bow loops towards one end; and continue to twist the wire so the bow doesn't ever loosen. |
You can fasten the bow to something and start separating the loops in different directions. Trim the ribbon ends. |

Optional: Fasten decoration(s) in the center of your bow with wire or glue. |
