In My Mind's Eye

I can see you,
lying there, waiting
for the pleasure my touch will bring.

I can see you,
body trembling, breathing shallowly,
eyes half closed in knowing anticipation
of what is to come.

I can see you,
lying there, responding
as your pleasure in my touch grows.

I can see you,
skin gleaming, breathing sporadically,
falling with uninhibited abandon,
to that place where my touch takes you.

I can see you,
lying there, surrendering
to the explosive pleasure that my touch has summoned.

I can see you,
lips smiling, breathing deeply,
relaxing with resplendent satisfaction,
not yet ready to leave that place where my touch took you.

I can see you,
lying there, waiting…
but it’s only
in my mind’s eye.
