She
by Dmitri Davies
She is the mistress of my desire,
To touch her flesh burns my fire.
She commands, and I obey.
The will to resist just ebbs away.
Without free will,
There is no way for one such as I
To resist her call.
For I am smitten beyond recall.
A pitiful creature you all must say,
That sulks and shuns the light of day.
Who has no choice or opinion to say,
What I have felt in my heart each day.
But I look into those eyes so blue and deep
And know that she has the power to keep
My happiness in her hands
And the power of knowing that I will always
Remain at her command.
