Contented Exhaustion

If you were here...

I would gaze deeply into your eyes, begging without an utterance of words. You would instinctively know what I wanted, what I needed and what I ached for.

If you were here...

I would teasingly brush the corner of your mouth with mine. You would gently part your lips as you whispered promises of the ecstasy to come.

If you were here...

I would rest my head on your shoulder as I drowned myself with your scent. You would nuzzle me in closer, knowing that my breathing was getting more and more shallow.

If you were here...

I would listen intently to see if your heart was beating as rapidly as mine. You would softly tickle the back of my neck with your tongue to remind me that slow, deliberate strokes were imminent.

If you were here...

I would surrender freely and effortlessly to your physical prowess, and you, to my desire for passion.

If you were here...

Together, we would see the harshness of the day fall away as we shed the clothes from our bodies.

Together, we would probe the depths to which we each would go, giving of ourselves unselfishly, and accepting what the other is offering with openness and trust.

Together, we would soon feel the fire ignite as the touching and caressing became more vigorous and masterful.

Together, our bodies would ride the waves in unison, as we leisurely increased the rhythm of our love song.

If you were here...

I would be holding you, clutching you, and taking all of you, as you take me to the sacred place you promised just moments before.

You would fill me with your entire being until we exploded together and collapsed with contented exhaustion.
