I am very worried. My significant other just found out that I am earning more than him. He seems to be very upset. He is not sharing his feelings and I don't know how he feels now. I try to be nice to him by helping him in his work. However he does not want to be bothered. What should I do?

For Love or Money?,
First, stop sucking up. If you make more money than he does, fine. It's not a crime. If he has an issue with it, frankly, it's his issue. You haven't done anything wrong, so quit acting like you have. A person who has "got it" together would not feel as if they had to make more money, or one up the other person. Sure, in competitive play you may want to do better, but when it comes to improving yourself as a person, never. If it's your desire, a partner worth keeping would try to help you do anything you dreamed, including making more money. If you want to find out how he feels just ask him straight out. If he can't answer you, well, how long do you think this relationship will last, when he can't even talk to you about money?
