I asked this girl out on a date and she said yes. We went out and every thing about it was great. She even said that she loved it. She says she would like to go out again, but it's been four weeks now since that first date. We still talk on the phone, but most of the time she's working nights. Then, almost every weekend she's at the bar. When I talk to her she still says she wants to go out, but never acts on it. I really like this girl, but how do I know whether she likes me or is just saying she wants to go out again to be nice? I think you need to be more of an initiator here. You never get anything you want by waiting for people to give it to you. YOU need to ask her out. The next time she says she still wants to go out, make a date right then and there. Have a few ideas of where you want to go before you talk to her. For example, if you want to see a new movie, or go out to dinner, etc. Don't hang up until you have a day and time set up. If she hesitates about setting a firm date, you may just have to ask her point blank if her interest in you as a potential romantic partner is real. You may not like the answer, but at least you'll know.
