Love Task #14
"The Music of Our Love"

Music can convey a multitude of feelings and emotions. It has the power to pick us up when we are feeling down, sympathize with our losses and celebrate in our victories. For this week's task you are going to use music to communicate exactly how you feel about each other. You can choose to do this task to help motivate the other partner, lift their spirits or just to say, "I love you." Have fun!

Task Options:

  • Each morning before your partner goes to work, put in a CD or tape with a song you want your partner to listen to. Put a sticky note on the steering wheel with the track number you want them to hear.

  • If you have a CD alarm clock, put in a new CD each night and set it to play your desired track.

  • Create a custom play list on your partner's music player for them to listen to throughout the week.

  • Make a custom CD with songs you want your partner to listen to this week.

When your week is up, compare notes about what you appreciated about the selections your partner chose for you. Did you get the message they were trying to send?
